BazGym Gymnastics School (SAFRA Jurong)​

PhysiogymThis class is specially catered for children with special needs. The aspiration of Bazgym physiogym class is to use the gymnastics environment as a tool to increase childrens’ potential to function at higher levels in their everyday lives. The programme also aims to improve their confidence.

​Very often, therapists in hospital and clinics, after diagnosis, do not have the means and resources to work with children on a long term basis. Bazgym’s physiogym classes take gymnastics elements and transform them into a fun, dynamic and fulfilling class. The programme is designed to have variety of athletic and creative skills set for the children to perform while also having the social element of peer contact with other children.

AquaFins specializes in both Regular & Disability Sports Training. We provide quality services in water competency, water safety, swimming, rehabilitation and motor skills development through: 

Danny Ong, Principal Trainer for Special Needs, passion and dedication in disability sports continue to shine through his innovative concepts where he designed the KITES © Programme to aid coaches and teachers on how to conduct adaptive activities for persons with special needs. He is also the pioneer of an AquaFins early intervention programme which is government-registered.

Royce Kids Gym

Royce Kids Gym is a sensory gym for baby 6 months to 7 years year old, and aims to enhance a child’s 5 senses. The sensory gym room has a variety of toys and effective equipment. Children can learn through play to improve fine and gross motor skills. The gym is all surrounded with padding, and all toys are clean everyday to providing a safe and supportive environment for baby and toddlers.

Running Hour Club

Runninghour is a sports co-operative that promotes integration of persons with special needs through running.

A group of fitness enthusiasts act as buddy runners to special needs members who are mildly intellectually challenged every Saturday morning. 

We have members who are mildly intellectually challenged, physically challenged and visually challenged joining us to keep fit. 

We welcome anyone passionate about running to join us as running guides!

KK Women's and Children's Hospital is the first in Singapore to present 'Children on the Move', a movement programme for children aged four years old and above. The programme caters to children who encounter difficulties learning and performing fundamental movement skills appropriate for their age, such as running, jumping, skipping, throwing and catching.

Customised to each child’s individual needs, it is designed to improve the child’s physical fitness and fundamental movement skills through participation in physical activities in a fun, positive and supervised environment.

Children who will benefit from the exercise programme fall into three groups:
  • Children with learning and neuromuscular disabilities
  • Children with Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD)
  • Children with medical conditions but no movement challenges or disabilities

Esplanade Park playground is a rare public children’s playground in the heart of the city. It features nostalgic-looking slide, seesaw and a spinning disc. A unique feature of the Esplanade Park playground is a wall of bells beside the Esplanade Bridge.
