Rainbow Centre Training & Consultancy (RCTC)

To build an inclusive community, we offer Public Programmes targeted at schools, businesses and organisations which desire to understand and serve students, colleagues, clients or others in the community with disabilities. Caregiver programmes are catered specifically to the needs of caregivers of persons with disabilities. 

Our Professional Programmes provide a continuum of basic to advanced workshops to enskill educators, therapists and other professionals serving persons with disabilities. Professionals in the field can also look forward to Master Classes featuring local and international experts sharing leading practices. 
 

Autism Resource Centre (ARC)

The ARC(S) Training Division is the largest provider of autism training programmes in Singapore and the region. Since its inception in Year 2000, more than 20,000 training opportunities offered by ARC(S) AITC have been taken up by autism communities both locally and overseas.

​ARC(S) AITC aims to make significant contributions towards improving positive learning outcomes for professionals and caregivers as well as students / individuals with autism through a variety of specialist autism training programmes and services.

​Workshops can be customised to suit the needs of your group or organisation, whether in early intervention, special education, mainstream school environments (primary to tertiary), employers or other organisations and partners keen to enskill staff members.

The Autism Resource Centre (S) organises scheduled and fee-based Autism Learning Tours to promote a deeper understanding of the service models it offers at various life stages. These educational tours are specially catered to leaders, educators and other professionals in the autism community.

Social Service Institute (SSI) Training Programmes

We are committed to raising the standard of service in the social service sector. We achieve this by equipping our professionals with the knowledge and skills they need. By providing training and programmes in a wide range of areas such as social work, special education, counselling and therapy, we boost the capabilities of those who serve in the social service and community sector to enhance their delivery of service. In constantly reviewing our programmes, we ensure that they remain current and relevant to the needs of children, youth, families, the elderly and those with disabilities.

COLLABORATION WITH SOCIAL SERVICE INSTITUTE (SSI)
To equip arts instructors with skills to deliver arts programmes to children with special needs, NAC has collaborated with the Social Service Institute (SSI) to deliver a customised training course for arts instructors to better understand children with learning disabilities in SPED and mainstream schools. Facilitating Arts Based Learning for Children with Special Needs
To encourage participation and a culture of continuous skills upgrading, arts instructors who are approved to conduct programmes under the NAC-AEP and arts instructors conducting NAC supported programmes will pay only $187.25 per person after a 90% course fee subsidy. 


COLLABORATION WITH SEED INSTITUTEThe NAC has been actively developing new programmes to broaden access to and deepen engagement in the arts in pre-schools. As part of our efforts to provide more learning opportunities for arts instructors keen to work with us in this field, we have partnered with SEED Institute to offer a 49-hr pedagogy course: “Teaching the Arts in an Early Childhood Environment”.
Teaching the Arts in an Early Childhood Environment
Arts instructors who are approved to conduct programmes under the NAC-AEP 2015/16 will only pay $110.00 per person after a 90% course fee subsidy.

KAPLAN

Master of Education in Inclusive and Special Education

This course addresses the professional learning needs of educators, educational administrators, managers, policy makers and others interested or involved in learning and education or educational work in the wider community, and who may be based either locally or internationally.

This course focuses on building inclusive learning environments. Students specialise in theories of, and approaches to, inclusion of diverse learners with particular cultural, social, cognitive and emotional needs across learning contexts.

Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the course structure will be awarded the Master of Education in Inclusive and Special Education from Monash University.
The degree awards will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates.

Coaching and Classifier Course (AT & SW)The Agitos Foundation, the Singapore National Paralympic Council (SNPC) and Sport Singapore have agreed to deliver a training and education workshop on Para athletics and Para swimming. These workshops aim to enhance the level of coaches and classifiers on Para athletics and Para swimming to improve their performances toward future events.

National Classifier Workshop (BA)​BWF is organizing a National Classifier Course in Ulsan, South Korea during the BWF Para-Badminton World Championships 2017.

​The MA Art Therapy Programme at LASALLE is a two-year, four semester full-time training programme spanning a range of psychotherapeutic concepts, theories and practices. The experiential model of the Programme places an emphasis on acquiring critical knowledge and understanding of the philosophy of the modality itself. All candidates undergo a substantial period of clinical practice through supervised clinical placements. Clinical work is further explored and discussed through structured group and individual supervision at the College.
